Coaching is a key leadership skill. In the WHY COACHING programme staff members learn how to coach team members to achieve their best, to solve problems, make better decisions, learn new skills and improve outcomes for pupils. The aim is to develop a culture of coaching and mentoring WHY COACHNG is a bespoke programme designed for each organisation.

For example, using coaching techniques to: (1) increase the capacity of senior leaders to (2) improve the performance and accountability of their teams and thus to (3) help raise pupil standards.

Consultancy is provided full or half day sessions in school, plus phone /email support for participants and all off site programme planning and preparation. Each participant experiences whole group and individual interaction with the consultant. If required a pre or post programme briefing can be provided for senior leaders or governors not involved directly in the programme.
